A TWO Event Day!!! and a touch of SWEET STUFF!!

Happy Monday everyone!!! I hope you have had a marvelous weekend and are ready for an even better week! Gosh!! I have been in bed since Thursday and I hope by tomorrow night I will be ready to return to my Zumba classes!! This old lady has really missed shaking her tailfeathers!!! haha I have had pneumonia, bronchitis, infected throat glands...so.....2 shots, a run of Z-pac,and enough cough medicine fortified with hydrocodone to put a giant to sleep!! haha But I am back in the land of the living (until my next cough syrup dose anyway)...ZZzzzzzzz

First, today is the first day of the Wild Orchid Challenge for this fortnight where it's ANYTHING GOES. For my desk set project, shown above, you can see that I used Organza Ribbon, Cottage Rose, Hip Rosebuds, and Sweetheart Blossoms as well as Self-Adhesive Pearls.

AND, today is Day 6 of the January Release at Whimsy Stamps. On Wednesday, January 23, Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology Dies. Whimsy Designer Paper Packs, Shape EZ Templates, and some new Whimsy Prints pre-colored toppers. From then until January 29 the Whimsy DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a Daily Mini Blog Hop and I am a part of today's hop!!!!

For my desk set project I used some coordinated shabby chic products that I found at Michaels and simply decorated them.  The set included a major journal/pen, note pad/pen, set of cards/envies, set of pencils, set of clothes pins, and 18 gift tags. On the front of the journal I used the darling Bella Sole Collecting Daisies which was designed by the incomparable Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps. I also used the NEW beautiful Lace Doily Corner 1 die designed by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps.

 

For the cover of the notes/envies pack and for the the gift tags, I stamped darling Bella Soles head and cut her out in a circle and added some matting for each one.
